Back to Basics
This is the first class you must do to attend the basic skills class. We all know we can still do it but knowing is one thing and doing another. The coach will help improve your strength and flexibility so you can minimise injury from the set go. Push ups, dips, handstands on the wall, core strength training and many more will aid you to perform the skills that you once did effortlessly. Even if you didn't, it's never too late to start.
Once you have been passed off by the coach and you're ready to take it to the next level, you will start your basic skills training with forward roll, cartwheels and round offs. All sounds familiar but how good are you now?
Well, who would have thought you're training for handsprings and somersaults again?
If you've reached this stage then you may be on your way to back to where you left off.
We can't train you to be an Olympic Medallist but we will try our best to remind you of all those happy memories you made with gymnastics when you were younger.
